Rose bouquet with winding crocheted Ivy

I lost my dad the 5th of March 2010. I wanted to make a funeral decoration myself. I was his only child and I got my crafting skills from him. I made this bouquet of fabric Roses with crocheted leaves and long winding Ivy.Roses and winding Ivy

I’m working on a tutorial with patterns and all the pieces :) If you want to make one like it yourself.
See you soon! :)

I would love to have your pattern for the ivy leaves.
My daughter wants to have ivy garland strung over her curtain rods instead of traditional curtains/drapes.
Please let me know if you have a pattern that I can follow :)

Hello Em and Kristen, I crochet free-hand so I don’t remember how I did the leafs. But when I look at the images here it looks like I first crocheted a large leaf and then a small one while attaching it with stitches along the large leafs side. I’m sorry but it was to long ago.
I did a search at Ravlery and found this pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ivy-klimop
It’s not mine but it looks very similar.
Hope this was of any help for you
    Kind regards
