You can use the sugar / water as starch, but you need a form to use as a mold. I do not know how to store them in a humid climate, but I suggest you put them in cloth or paper and store them in an airtight jar.

		<description>I live in Hawaii (high humidity) and several years ago, friends from Newfoundland gave me 36 hand crafted crochet christmas decorations.  They are in need of some TLC and I need to know how to store them.  I will need to re-starch, re-shape, and store correctly.  Any ideas?</description>
